Olga Profutkina is an Ireland based designer,graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design (Limerick Institute of Technology*) with a BA( First Class Honors) in Fashion Design . Previously,she studied pattern drafting in Milan. Olga experiments through use of innovative cut , texture and structure to pursue unconventional techniques in construction. The freedom of exploring shapes, theatricality and appreciation of craft, creates collections with eccentric aesthetic.
Olga was one of the finalists in Triumph Inspiration Award, Ireland(2012); Golden Egg Fashion Innovation Award(2014), Kerry Fashion Award(2014).
Olga's graduate collection represented LSAD in The International Catwalk Competition, Graduate Fashion Week, London and in many media involvements including being featured on RTE's program "Nationwide" and a Limerick City of Culture advert.
Olga has worked in Industry for such fashion labels as NATALIEBCOLEMAN ( AW 13/Collection "I Belong To Me") and menswear designer Aitor Throup.
Some of Olga's interests are puppetry, costume design, patchwork, bobbin lace, textile design and creative embroidery.
